"It gives me immense pleasure to extend my warm greetings on the auspicious occasion of the launch of the official website of the Sports & Youth Welfare Department, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC)."
In this era of digital transformation, an official departmental website serves as a vital instrument for strengthening transparency, accessibility, communication and public participation in governance. The launch of this website marks yet another significant milestone in our endeavour to make the functioning and activities of the Sports & Youth Welfare Department more accessible to sportspersons, sports organisations, clubs, associations, institutions and the general public.
Through this digital platform, information pertaining to sports schemes, programmes, tournaments, training activities, sports infrastructure, grants and assistance, departmental initiatives, notifications, achievements and other important activities shall be disseminated in a timely and systematic manner. It will further provide a common platform for the dissemination of opportunities and shall encourage greater participation of our young talents across various sporting disciplines.
The Government of BTC remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering a robust and inclusive sports ecosystem, wherein talented athletes from every corner of the Bodoland region are afforded due opportunities, facilities, training and encouragement to excel at the district, state, national and international levels. This website shall further vision by enhancing the flow of information and promoting closer coordination among the Department, District Sports Associations, sports clubs, coaches, athletes and other stakeholders.
I am confident that this departmental website will contribute significantly towards the efficient delivery of services, improved public outreach, enhanced accountability and wider recognition of the achievements of our sportspersons. It shall also serve as a valuable repository of information and a window through which the sporting endeavours and accomplishments of BTC may be showcased to the wider world.
I place on record my sincere appreciation for the efforts of the officers and officials of the Sports & Youth Welfare Department who have worked diligently to bring this digital initiative to fruition. I encourage all stakeholders, particularly our young sportspersons, to make effective use of this platform and to actively participate in the development of sports in the Bodoland region.
Let us collectively endeavour to build a stronger, healthier, more inclusive and digitally connected sporting community in BTC, and create an environment wherein every talented young person is afforded the opportunity to realise their sporting aspirations.
I extend my best wishes for the successful launch and effective functioning of the official website of the Sports & Youth Welfare Department, BTC.
